Grilled Halloumi Cheese:
Ingredients
2 (8.8-ounce) packages halloumi, or halloumi-style cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
Fresh herbs (basil, mint, oregano), for garnish
Lemon wedges, for garnish
Steps to Make It
Gather the ingredients.
Prepare a medium (350 F to 375 F) gas or charcoal grill fire. Slice the halloumi cheese into wide, 1/2-inch thick slices and lightly brush each side with olive oil.
Carefully place the cheese on the grill for just a few minutes on each side (about 2 to 3 minutes), until lightly browned and gently crisped; do not over-grill.
Garnish the cheese slices with lemon wedges and fresh herbs.
