Malibu Pacific Church's mantra: Give, serve, love.

Church donates funds to Malibu's elementary schools and supports charitable causes local and worldwide.  It was so lovely to get such a loving donation surprise! I got a lovely text from Joel and Shannon Dunn, some of our parents at Webster Elementary, and they informed me that Malibu Pacific Church will donate to our school's parent teacher association to support the children at Webster Elementary," a delighted Bobbi Thomason, Webster's PTA president said. "The PTA will be meeting to determine how best to use the monies and we will make sure to allocate them to a use that is fitting for the generosity and thoughtfulness." On Nov. 10, Thomason and Amy Lingo, who represented Malibu Elementary, gratefully received the church's donations of $5,000 for each school, an amount that Malibu Pacific Church Pastor Andy VomSteeg said, "was raised by church congregants in just 30 seconds at the church's Nov. 3 services."

It takes so little to give so much: Malibu Pacific Church's Baja Missions tradition celebrates 30 years

In an ongoing commitment to community service and outreach, Malibu Pacific Church, in partnership with Baja Christian Ministries, has reached a significant milestone: 30 years of building homes and providing essential aid in the outskirts of Tijuana, Mexico," Pastor Andy VomSteeg shared with The Malibu Times. "Over the de-cades, this initiative has seen the construction of two to four homes annually, directly impacting the lives of numerous families across the border."
This year, Malibu Pacific Church continued its tradition by sending a team of 43 dedicated volunteers to construct two new homes in Baja.

"Among the beneficiaries was a local pastor and his family, who received one of the homes, complete with appliances and beds — a gesture that symbolizes the deep connection and support the church aims to foster within these com-munities," VomSteeg said, adding that each home, valued at approximately $15,000, is constructed over a mere two-day period. Further, the homes are fully furnished and ready for immediate occupancy.
